I am more than baffled why Kahr told me they deleted records of finishes ect. I was told it was a pistol made in 1998 by Kahr. This has only happened to me at range when I've had all my mags pre loaded and just loosely tossed in bag and I didn't notice that the top round had jiggled down to the "flat" position.Īll in all, unless you get the rare squirrely one, PM series of Kahr's are fantastic weapons for the size and weight. The feed lips are too open I think, due to the tight clearance in the gun. Even after modding the base plate it would shed rounds in your pocket. I would fire 1 round and the mag would poop out and dissemble itself all over the floor. No worries in my normal pocket rig:īut the MK series mags (used in PM also) are bad to jostle that top round they'll even throw them all the way out sometimes if you carry them in pocket sans holder of some sort. The mags had issues with engaging the mag release fully. If you carry your mags in some protected carrier, probably won't happen period. Surely you'd already have a round chambered while carrying and most likely wouldn't have the neeed to change mags during a fire fight.
